DALIT ACADEMIC MAFIA


I am a first generation Dalit-Madiga (Father’s name is Anand alias Titus born to railway employee John Mattimalla)-Yadav (Mother’s name is Suguna Yadav born to Patnala Simhadri Yadav who was a Dora (Village Headman) converted Christian from South Asia. I was born and brought up by the mighty Pooja-Yadav community whose profession is cattle rearing. I was born to educated parents who do not hold academic qualifications. My maternal grandparents were remained as Pooja-Yadavas but never come to Jesus Christ. They died and their death ceremony was conducted as per the rituals of Pooja-Yadav community in which they were born and grown up. We live in a Yadav dominant village; we have our own Yadav Church which allowed Hindu-Mala’s-a former Untouchable community into it.  Church Pastor was my cousin, a Pooja-Yadav by caste. In our village 18 families have been converted to Christianity purely based on the faith in HIM. There is NO attraction from any one for material benefit. We have left our Pooja-Yadav culture and tradition after receiving Jesus Christ Son of Holy God as our SAVIOUR.

 My Mother used to narrate the story of Jesus Christ who used to fight against hero-worship, violence, injustice, manipulations, superstitions, blind beliefs, lies, corruption etc. Violence is in many forms physical and mental. HE is always with poor and weaker sections in HIS times.  HE is a man of love, peace, equality, liberty, freedom, fraternity, care, honest with strong moral values. My mother says about Son of God that HE loves everyone including exploiters. She is a great source of inspiration to me. She never practices untouchability on non-Pooja Yadav people. I have seen how my mother used to speak to everyone in the village without looking in their caste.

My mother used to say about Gurram Jashuva that “I am born like him who was born to Pooja- Yadav (Father’s name was Veerayya)-Madiga (Mother’s name was Lingamma) converted Christian in South Asia. He married a Madiga converted women. Her name was Mary or Mariyamma. My mother used to tell me that “the only difference between me and Gurram Jashuva was, he was born and brought up the Madiga Christian community, whereas I am born and brought up by the mighty Pooja-Yadav converted Christian community”.

Indeed, Jashuvas writings are popular like the writings of Karl Marx (who is a most influential intellectual in human history), Friedrich Engel, Antonio Gramsci, Jurgen Habermas and Jacques Derrida. He is a classical literary figure in the Telugu literature. She(Mom) used to say about his great writings which questioned the notions of purity and impurity that are existed in every village of this region. However, my educated mother have desire to see me as an intellectual like Gurram Jashuva and Karl Marx who created and questioned the theory of caste and class system which has inspired billions of people for fighting for egalitarian society across the globe.  My mother used to say that even Karl Marx was born in Prussian wealthy Jewish Christian family but migrated to the Great Britain, a knowledge center, when fascist racist regimes were killing progressive intellectuals and scholars.

I have an elder sister who studied sixth class. She was not sent to school by my father who is a male chauvinist like every male in Asian or African continent. For him, there is a philosophy of Manu which says “women and four legged animal are equal” therefore women should not get education. So my Madiga father never provided my sister education despite my mother’s quarrel with him so many times to send my sister for the school. She became a futile in convincing my father who is a modern Manu. I was sent to government school because it is free education. Otherwise I would not even have a chance to get education. He used to beat my mother right from my childhood days. I have eye witnessed thousands of time while he was beating my mother and abusing my mother. Me and my sister were always with my mother who loved and cared us so much right from our childhood days.

I did BA.,MA.,M.Phil.,and Ph.D. in the Social Sciences from various non-meritorious colleges, universities and national institutions in India. I worked with non-meritorious teachers in the colleges and universities. I met non-meritorious teachers and researches in the higher education institutions. Meanwhile, I went to Brazil to study History, Heritage, and Memory with the partial financial support of SEPHIS in 2010 and went to Sydney University, Australia for studying Human Rights and Democratization (Asia- Pacific) with the partial scholarship of MHRD, Sydney University in 2011. For the first time after leaving the CSCS-Bangalore I had enjoyed a great academic scholarship in Brazil and Australia.

First time I came to know the meaning of knowledge creation after meeting Noam Chomski in Sydney. Indeed, I have attended many premier social science institutions in India such as Center for the Study of Culture and Society (CSCS), Bangalore; Center for the Studies in Social Sciences (CSSS), Calcutta and Center for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS), New Delhi prior to my abroad studies. CSCS-Bangalore is my source of inspiration in my intellectual trajectories. I should thank CSCS for realizing my lack of adequate intellectual skills when I was a student of PhD in Cultural Studies. Eventually I was removed from the course of PhD in 2005 based on my inadequate academic scholarship. I was a not-meritorious student by then. In fact I agree that I have not earn academic skills but spoiled their prestigious CSCS Scholarship. I felt guilty for my poor academic skills but I never defend myself in the name of "caste" or "historical suppression" or "first generation" or "rural back ground". Indeed, we have a unique history in subcontinent that was Pooja-YADAV KINGDOMS in South Asian History. Might Pooja-Yadav kingdoms had ruled Indian subcontinent for thousands of years. One can't read the history of India without reading the pooja-Yadav History in every corner and snooker of the subcontinent.  I am born in a such caste which is a ruling community of entire north India or half of the Indian geography has been under the control of mighty Pooja-Yadav community( Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh have been ruling by mighty Pooja-Yadav community, covering more than 70% of Indian geography). In fact the President of neighboring country Nepal is a Pooja-Yadav by caste. Fiji is being dominated by Pooja-Yadav community among Indian population. I am highly inspired from the way in which CSCS has been training its young scholars in intellectual arena. I met many eminent personalities in Social Sciences and Humanities when I was student here. They (CSCS) have founded a strong passion, zeal and desires in me to read and read to create progressive knowledge. I used to be very narrow like any sub-subaltern when I was a student here. I used to have inferior complex not because of my skin color or inter-caste but because I did not acquire prominent skills in articulation of an article in the classroom discussions. CSCS had provided me a room for progressive thoughts and discussions in my intellectual trajectories with their reading materials and intellectual discussions and debates. I m am highly inspired by the liberal thoughts and attitudes of eminent Professor Tejaswini Niranjana. I had realized the importance of reading, writing, discussions, debates and liberal behaviour after leaving the CSCS which made me to overcome from the inferiority complexities.

Most of non-meritorious people (including M.Phil, Ph.D. or Teaching faculties include Vice-Chancellors) ranging from the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi to University of Hyderabad (UoH), Hyderabad includes more than 1000 deemed, state, central universities or UGC or ICSSR funding higher education institutions (with few exceptional individuals from the JNU or UoH or IFLU and centers such as CSDS, CSSS and CSCS) defend themselves by saying that (it is my personal experience with majority non-meritorious teaching & research community in India: in their words):

They are the first generation students, scholars, researchers, teachers and vice-chancellors so they can’t spend time for reading and writing or they don’t have time to attend intellectual talks that are given by eminent social scientists or don’t have time to buy books to read,

They are the vernacular speaking people so that they can’t participate in the intellectual discussions and debates because these intellectuals or intellectual discussions are useless for society. For them learning English is a sin because ‘writing’ won’t bring any material benefit for the intellectuals except ‘knowledge’ so knowledge is useless,

They are the lower caste people so they have many problems unlike privileged Brahmins in their houses, localities, areas, regions and countrywide so that they focus on solving country problems by spending entire life on chit chatting or uploading their photos with different styles (Most of deemed, state and central university research scholars and teaching faculties are busy with chit chatting and uploading their photos on face book and whatsapp social medias,

They are the most under privileged groups so they do not want to spend money on books to read,

They are most oppressed historically so that they need at least one generation after retirement for creating knowledge or to learn English,

They are first timers so they want to improve their economic stability so the moment they join as the Assistant Professors they start real estate business or they use dowry in any investment that can improve their economic prosperity apart from the handsome salary that they are getting hugely from the UGC to create knowledge,

They are weaker sections which does not have power so it’s not their mistake to poor in academics,

They are not allowed to corporate institutions so they humiliate dedicated intellectuals or knowledge creators at maximum cost, if still these dedicated social scientists wound not bother about threats then they use physical force to insult them best of their or they use caste card to assassinate character of that particular dedicated scholar in the public sphere,

Most of non-meritorious teachers are best among best to get higher position from Ph.D. holder to Assistant Professor to Associate Professor to Professor to Vice Chancellors by various manipulations by using political or bureaucrat or reservations or political recommendations from the high political offices

Since they are the first generation and historically oppressed they spend UGC scholarships for gold, two wheelers, nano cars etc. If you resell gold or two or Nano cars you will be getting your money back but if you buy books its useless,

They are poor in writing  western scholars names in English because they are the first generation teachers or researchers and sad that they can’t even know the single volume of their liberator who acquired enormous knowledge from his Colombia University, United States of America and London School of Economics, Great Britain.

Finally, they are depending on the intellectuals from the 'outside' castes for writing on 'their' movements, identities, struggles etc. For instance, if  Dr.B.R.Ambedkar would not gone to Christian countries such as The United States of America and the Great Britain for his studies at the Christian Universities Colombia University and London School of Economics, they would not even have a single intellectual in the intellectual arena

If Gurram Jashuva would not born and brought by the Christian converted Madiga-Yadav community they would not have a literary figure in the intellectual arena of Telugu literature ( Even though Gurram Jashuva born to Pooja-Yadav converted Christian father but he never claimed that he is a Pooja-Yadav Christian but Madiga Christian since he was born and brought up by his Mother who was a Madiga Christian)

If Eleanor Zelliot would not come to India to work on "Ambedkar and Mahar Movement" at her Ph.D. Degree they would not have 'history' of liberation movement under the leadership of 'their' liberator

If Gail Omvedt would not come to India to work on 'Protest Literature' they would not have 'histories' in written document

If Gopal Guru would not born in non-Mahar community they would not have a theorecian to document on 'their' liberation struggles

If Anand Teltumbde was not reading Marxist-Ambedkarite literature they would have keep on defaming Dr B R Ambedkar who is a Great Scholar of ALL THE TIME by their narrow non-meritorious writings which are belittling him intellectual arena

If Rajni Kothari would not have worked on 'Rise of Dalits' they would not have a serious work

If Aloysius would not have written 'Nationalism Without A Nation in India' they would not have a thought breaking work in intellectual arena

If Valerian Rodrigues would not work on entire volumes of essential writings and speeches of Dr B R Ambedkar they would not have a reviewed works of Ambedkar in single book

If Sharmila Rege would not work on Dalit Bahujan feminism 'they' would not have a literature on feminism

If Arundati Roy would not written Doctor and Saint in Ambedkar's Annihilation of Caste, least of the least Dalit communities would not come to know about mainstream Dalit manipulations in all aspects of the life

If Kancha Ilaiah would not write Why I am not a Hindu, they would not have a representation

If Gundimeda Sambaiah would not gone to London University for his studies they would not have an intellectual who can write independently to many mainstream journals such as Economic and Political Weekly ( EPW). One of his thought breaking work on Contemporary Dalit Politics has been published by Routledge India. In fact Sambaiah is the lone intellectual from the Madiga Christian community who is writing to EPW independently without 'adding' any mainstream intellectual names such as Susie Tharu

If Kolakaluri Enouch would not enter into Telugu literature they would not have a literary figure. He still come from the Madiga community

Non-Meritorious teachers or researchers have been depending on Meritorious Intellectuals who are again come from the non-Mahar communities. If you minus above Intellectuals 'they' don't have 'intellectuals' to lead them nationally and internationally in the intellectual arena

None of the above intellectuals never part of RESERVATION HOLDERS or never depend on the RESERVATIONS or POLITICAL RECOMMENDATIONS FOR GETTING POSITIONS IN THE ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS

There are more than 20 crores intellectually inferior 'sub-subaltern' people, 50 crores intellectually inferior 'agrarian' people, 20 crores intellectually inferior 'business people', 15 crores intellectually inferior people who belonged to 'medieval period faith' and approximately 15 crores intellectually inferior 'politicians' who are all together spoiling the spirit of KNOWLEDGE CREATION IN SOUTH ASIAN SUBCONTINENT

Only 0001% of the English speaking western educated (with the few individual exceptional cases from the intellectuals who studied in subcontinent but created enormous knowledge) people are contributing to the knowledge creation in subcontinent. Let us salute them for their dedication towards knowledge creation without enjoying the life of 120 crores who are mostly spent time for chit chats and unproductive activities in their daily life.

Let us SAVE THE HIGHER EDUCATION ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS FROM THE HANDS OF NON-MERITORIOUS TEACHERS AND RESEARCHERS

Let us demand for institutions like CSDS-New Delhi, CSSS-Calcutta and CSCS-Bangalore rather than non-meritorious deemed, state and central universities and national institutions

Let us protect the national wealth i.e. knowledge creation from the hands of non-academic, non-meritorious, bourgeois, political recommendations

We are tolerated till now…Let us not tolerate any more…

What is the contribution of subcontinents' sub-subaltern communities to the knowledge creation except claiming Constitution of India, executed by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar ?

The only difference between Jewish and the Dalit-Bahujan-Agrarian-Business-Medieval Indian faith people-Hilly area communities is that Jewish have created knowledge to challenge the mainstream races whereas above groups have deeply involved in the academic manipulations to get 'just' teaching jobs rather than focusing on knowledge creation. Sub-subaltern, hilly area and agrarian groups reservations in the higher education institutions has spoiled the spirit of academics . They were neither learn to read nor allow others to focus on knowledge creation. Finally they are living the life of non-academic, non-meritorious, unproductive and inferior life without any self-respect and dignity by using the reservations in the public sectors in general and universities in particular.

Indian inferior communities should learn the notion of self-respect, dignity, challenge and merit from the most persecuted Jewish community in the knowledge creation. They should stop manipulations, caste politics, disturbing intellectuals etc.

Suggestions for the non-meritorious teaching & research communities ranging from the Central Universities to State Universities and national institutions:

I HAVE SEEN THE WAY IN WHICH SYDNEY UNIVERSITY, AUSTRALIA RECRUIT VARIOUS NON-WHITE TEACHERS AND RESEARCHERS FROM THE NON-WHITE COUNTRIES UNDER THE CATEGORY OF ASIAN AND AFRICAN RESERVATIONS. BUT THESE INTELLECTUALLY INFERIOR CONTINENTS TEACHERS AND RESEARCHERS DO LEARN QUICKLY TO PROVE THEIR ACADEMIC SKILLS IF NOT ON PAR WITH WHITE INTELLECTUALS IN A SHORT SPAN OF TIME. OTHERWISE SYDNEY UNIVERSITY WILL NEVER ENTERTAIN THOSE NON-MERITORIOUS TEACHERS,RESEARCHERS AND STUDENTS IF THEY DONT IMPROVE THEIR ACADEMIC SKILLS. TEACHING JOB IS NOT PERMANENT IN THOSE WORLD RENOWNED UNIVERSITIES SO THAT THEY ARE ABLE TO CREATE ENOROMOUS KNOWLEDGE IN EVERY DISCIPLINE. WHEREAS YOU ARE GETTING RELAX BY JOINING UNIVERSITIES BY USING VARIOUS UNETHICAL METHODS 'JUST' TO GET FACULTY POSITIONS. SO  THAT YOU DON'T KNOW THE MEANING OF KNOWLEDGE CREATION. IF YOU START PURCHASING BOOKS, READING BOOKS, SPENDING TIME, ENERGY AND MONEY THEN ONLY YOU WILL COME TO KNOW VALUE OF KNOWLEDGE CREATION.
