Not everyone is blessed with education.
Not
everyone is blessed with books.
Not
everyone is blessed with paper.
Not
everyone is blessed with a pencil.
Not
everyone is blessed with a notebook.
Not
everyone is blessed with an eraser.
Not
everyone is blessed to read a book.
Not
everyone is blessed with rubber.
Not
everyone is blessed to write a book.
Not
everyone is blessed with a listening book.
Not
everyone is blessed with sitting inside the school.
Not
everyone is blessed with knowledge.
Education
is a blessing for a few hegemonic.
It
is a curse for many.
Millions
of souls hunger to touch a book.
Millions
of souls hunger for learning.
Millions
of souls hunger to read a book.
Millions
of souls hunger to write a book.
Millions
of souls are hungry to sit in a school.
Millions
of souls are hungry to produce knowledge.
But
our purity and impurities are blessings for a few and cursed for millions.
God
bless America for allowing Africans into your schools.
Not
everyone is blessed like African Americans in America.
There
are tens of millions of untouchables who are deprived of education.
There
are tens of millions of sexual minorities who are deprived of education.
Millions
of Yazidis are deprived of education.
There
are tens of millions of female children who are deprived of education.
There
are tens of millions of women who are deprived of education.
They
are deprived of learning just because they are impure.
They
are deprived of learning just because they are untouchables.
They
are deprived of learning just because they are sexual minorities.
They
are deprived of learning just because they are Yazidis.
Learning
is a gift to the hegemonic.
And
cursed the oppressed groups
The first African-American female child, Ruby Nell Bridges
Hall, attended an all-white school, William Frantz Elementary School,
in Louisiana in 1960. She was escorted by American Marshalls to protect her
from the white students and their parents. She was born in the year 1954. When
can untouchable children attend all-Hindu schools in India?
