I visited this slave island, aka Black Island, Morro De So Paulo, Brazil in 2010, and rolled my tears from my eyes by eye-witnessing the poverty of the black community. My Brazilian African friends told me that these black island people were once slaves of Portuguese masters who brought them from Africa in the 15th century AD to Brazil. Thank you, SEPHIS, for the opportunity to visit this historical, once slave island.
