Exposing theoretical falsehoods

 

The leading Indian political theorist Gopal Guru discovered only male and female categories in his much-celebrated theoretical work, Humiliation, Claims, and Context (ed. ), published by Oxford University Press, 2009, New Delhi.

 

“Secondly, the capacity to control the corporeal body (both male and female)”, Gopal Guru, p.1, Introduction, Theorizing Humiliation. Where is my space in his work? Space of my queer identity in his binary theory?

 

Unfortunately, Professor Gopal Guru writes on subalternity, persecution, caste, untouchability, race, gender, oppression, feminism, etc., but he does not even know that LGBTQ communities are living human beings. The irony is that Guru quotes Michael Foucault in every work.
