Princess Selamawit Hailu Bezabih drew this historical cartoon to the historical
massacre of 50 Tigrayans by the Ethiopian State, Eritrean State, and Amhara
Militias. The Tigrayan corpses were found floating in the Setiti River, or
Tekeze River (which runs between Ethiopia and Sudan) on Tuesday, August 3,
2021, at 01.59 BST in the ongoing 980-Day Tigray Genocide. The cartoonist drew
it on Friday, June 24, 2022.
