School Memoir with a Transgender Kiss

 “When I was in school,

I used to kiss my schoolmate.

Even though

He used to humiliate me.

Hey untouchable I hate your kiss.

But

He used to allow his Hindu boys to kiss his lips.

I used to think everyone was equal.

But eventually I understood

Humans are not equal.

But graded inequities”. This is my teenage memory.

 We have a tile factory in Bayyavaram village in Kasimkota town in Anakapalli Division in Visakhapatnam district, where the owner of the factory is a Hindu-Kapu by caste. His son is transgender, but they forced him to marry a female. This is my personal experience with him. He used to allow every Hindu boy to kiss him, but he used to insult me whenever I tried to kiss him. Hindu LGBTQ communities practice the heinous caste system, racism, and untouchability in India.
