O, Tulasi

You were created as a plant.

Like any plant on earth,

But you are imprisoned by purity.

You are chained by Brahmins.

You are chained by the Kshatriyas.

You are chained by Vaishyas.

You are chained by Shudras.

You are chained by triabals.

You are chained by Westerners.

You are chained by yoga practitioners.

You are prisoned without getting proper sunlight and water.

They won’t feed you.

Just like they are not feeding cows

You are their only “thing” without life.

Just like a cow

You are a plant.

You are very much a natural.

You are a plant just like any other plant.

You are equal in front of God.

But you are holy in India.

Just like a cow

Because Brahmin has touched you,

You are not permitted to visit every Indian.

You are only permitted to Hindus.

You are banned from Untouchables.

Untouchables are banned from touching you.

How come such uncivilized variations, treatments, and practices of Indian society?

According to Vastu Shastra, Hindus should only keep you in the north or north east direction.

Why not other directions?

They created pure and impure directions too.

Why not every plant?

Why not crow, pig, or buffalo?

Why not other human beings?

There is no purity and impurity in you.

But Google says you are "holy Basil."

Sorry tulasi, you lost the freedom to grow.

Everything they touch is losing its freedom, liberty, equality, scientific temper, and critics.

I'm sorry for you, Basil.

I'm sorry Tulasi for your dehumanization at the hands of Brahmins and their foot-soldiers in the East and West.

Untouchables are not allowed to touch Tulasi in India since it is treated as "holy" by Hindus. If any untouchable touches Tulasi, then they carry a death sentence against untouchables in India.
