May 28, 2022, Princess Selamawit Hailu Bezabih drew a cartoon about the West's
blindness to the Tigray Genocide.
The white western
world closed its eyes to the ongoing 900-day Tigray genocide but opened its
eyes to the Afghan and Ukrainian crises, even though they are not genocides,
and welcomed them by air, road, and rail, giving unconditional love to their
equal-race people.
The Tigrayans are
visibly ignored, rejected, reduced, repulsed, discriminated against,
apartheid-ridden, isolated, and excluded from the 1951 Refugee Convention by
the white western world.
