STATUS OF NEGRO WOMEN DURING SLAVERY PERIOD IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA:

 

In May 1870, 15 white men raped a black woman while another white mob lynched her husband in North Carolina.

 

In the same North Caronlina, white mob raped a black girl and put their iron weapons in her sexual parts.

 

In 1855, in Mussouri, in 1855, Celia, a young black woman, was hanged by the American Judiciary for killing her white man who enslaved her and raped her for years and years.

 

In October 1866, Silvey Soilean was beaten by a white mob and killed her son, but the local sheriff refused to arrest the white men.

 

Peggy Rich, a black woman, was physically attacked by a white man named James Smith several times in Virginia in June 1866.

 

Another black woman, Rhoda Ann Childs, was raped by eight white men in September 1866.

 

Harriet Simril, another black woman, was raped by three white men in 1871 in Columbia and South Carolina for refusing to vote for a whitesupremacist.” Dr.Suryaraju Mattimalla
