Dear Eritrean Community,
What Ethiopia, under the leadership of Meles Zenawi Asres, did to Eritrea was a genocide and a crime against humanity for 20 years. There is no doubt that killing Eritreans for 20 years is an international violation of the 1948 Genocide Convention as well as the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
However, the Non-Stop (1673 days)Tigray Genocide by the notorious Ethiopian Prime Minister and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Dr. Abiy Ahmed and his notorious allies, Eritrea, Amhara civil society, and the Arab States, is also an international violation of the 1948 Genocide Convention as well as the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
I lived and worked at Mekelle University for 4 years and observed and experienced every inhuman activity or crime against humanity of the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF members) or crimes against humanity by its sympathizers against its own female children and women. Apart from plundering every local, national, and international resource and fund, the TPLF, or Tigray men, made their own Tigray females and female prostitutes in their daily lives, just like any Ethiopian community.
The public sexual assault of Tigray female children and women by Tigray men became a deep-rooted culture in and among the Tigray ethnic community. Female children and women can’t even walk without being sexually assaulted by their own Tigray men. Tigray female children and women in and around Tigray Region are not safe from Tigray men. Rape is not new to Tigray female children and women.
Let me tell you that UNTOUCHABLE/DALIT LIVES MATTER, NEGRO/BLACK LIVES MATTER, LGBTQ LIVES MATTER, and TRUTH & JUSTICE MATTER protests against deep-rooted caste, untouchability, race, gender oppression, lies, and injustice are "more than legitimate". Dr.Suryaraju Mattimalla
