Generations of glorification that put me underneath

“Generations of glorification

That put me underneath.

I'm still trying to get out of the mud.

Even though

Your generations of glorification

That put me underneath.

My self-esteem is crushed.

Your generations of glorification

That made me thing

Even though I am feeling

I am rising from things.

To prove that

Things have a voice

Even though things are human.

Things remain things in your shadow.

Your shadows are the prisons of my self-esteem.

I can’t gain my self-esteem in your sight.

Even though I am feeling

I can fight your oppression.

I should fight for my freedom.

Even though I am feeling

Things can rise from the dust.

Things can speak from the mud.

Words can be formed from things.

Things can be freed themselves.

Even though they are the thingification of super-humans.

We’ll never forget.

Never forget, never forget

Our ideologue

Aimé Césaire and his thingification.”

Untouchable castes, Negroes, sexual minorities, and Yazidis are things for hegemonic ideologies in their respective societies.
